OXACA 2015
Oaxaca is a region and a town in southern Mexico know for its celebration of Dia de Muertos or day of the dead. The mole sauced food is delicious and the ancient architecture is amazing. My photography is representative of the day of the dead. You are immersed in and with the people celebrating their ancestors with parties, picnics, face painting and very late night grave side vigils. I became accustomed to taking shots of Mezcal offered by graveside celebrants.
